Metro Area Realty  believes a smaller is more beautiful and much more personal approach brings the best results by far when buying or selling real estate. That a Realtor should be hired to decipher and personalize pertinent information and to work with a client in such a way that they never feel rushed or embarrassed by any question or concern. MAR believes this should be done by only working with one or two clients at a time – and backs it up with a 98.6% record with clients.

The one that, like a good wine, “finishes” nicely without being dominated by stress or annoyances. An educated choice that leaves a result that feels right for a long time.

The small business model works best in real estate. However, many individual Realtors in large companies head up large teams where a junior member does the work. They pretend they are a small business and hide to a large extent their corporate affiliation and that they are part of a larger conglomerate. The fact is – there remain for them a lot of corporate strategies and policies that have to either be adhered to or are inherent in their earnings structure. For example, generating/working many leads becomes more of a priority than putting in the proper amount of time on each client. This limits the proper quality and quantity of focus. Additionally, affiliations with lender or settlement companies “seem” to be easy/convenience one stop shopping but often end up not competitive enough to be financially beneficial. This is not what we consider the small business model.

Importantly, this brokerage was created out of 25+ years of business experience and operates successfully in a technologically savvy world. But technology is only one means to an end. If you think that having all the information will ensure your success go to any Realtor web site with a lot of pages and most likely it is boiler plate nonsense written by someone other than the Realtor. All the to do and consider lists are very often not only the lowest common denominator mass market appeal stuff…but also not always accurate information either. All with the hope, again, of getting their clients to do most of the work themselves without customized for their situation.
